Tidbits

  1. My oldest son jumped out of a plane today, with his girlfriend, for her birthday. I guess you still have big brass ones when you're 18. The dumbass didn't spend the extra $90 for a video tape.
  2. My site is the number 2 and number 3 most popular site when searching, "nanny fuck anything" on search.sympatico.msn.ca Damed cannucks. I do have my standards.
  3. Over 100 people have died in The People's Republic over the last week because of the heat. Are you fucking stupid? Fill a bathtub with water, and dip body parts when you get hot. We're as bad as the French, when they had their deadly heat wave a few years back.
  4. We're losing 300-400 cows per day from the heat. Milk prices soon to soar.....
  5. Yardwork and brewing 15 gallons of beer for my upcoming Oktoberfest. Mmmmmm, beer...

Have a wonderful weekend, and try and stay away from the news. It'll drive you nuts...!

My Newest Baby

Sweet!I just picked up the Glock 19 - well, I don't pick it up until next Tuesday. It is incredibly light for it's size, only 23oz without the clip. It is a 9mm, which is a little smaller caliber than I wanted, but my wife is just too afraid of the sound and recoil with our .357 magnum. I'm afraid if she ever needed to use it, she might hesitate. No such problem with the Glock.

Here in the People's Republic of California, the maximum clip size is 10, but it does come with two clips.

I'll probably leave this in the home gun box under the bed, and carry the .357 in my car in a People's Republic-approved safe - no carrying in the glove box. You can't even keep the weapon loaded even if it's in the safe. I have a couple of speed-loaders for the magnum, so it shouldn't be a huge issue.

Off to the range in a couple of weekends!

Hiatus, Of Sorts

Too Damned Busy

To those of you that continue to drop by, I thank you. I apologize for the lack of posting and rants, but my time has been very limited. Between work and writing two books (one political and one on brewing), I've just been slammed for time.

I'll write a post now and again when I'm major-league pissed off, but for the most part, until some time opens up, I'll just be hitting the sites of my friends (and some enemies!) to give my opinion. I'm going to try and do an essay here every other week. I DO intend on devoting time here in the future, but I just don't have enough hours in the day.

Thanks again for stopping by now and again.

PS: Read the Madison quote about tyranny and oppression at the top of the page. Don't react, just let it sink in a bit....
